While Prince of the Nile Book 1 deals with the first forty years of Moses' life, Book 2 follows Moses as he leads the people out of Egypt and prepares Joshua to takeover the leadership of the nation. As a young slave and part of a team of builders for Pharaoh Thutmose III, Joshua his knowledge of Egyptian language and culture necessary for his future role as General of Israel's army. The story is filled with danger, deprivation and hardship, but also some of the greatest miracles ever recorded by man. The story could well be called 'The Day the Sun Stood Still, ' because God gives Joshua an extended period of daylight in order to vanquish his enemies. Blood, sweat, tears, miracles, are found in the pages of this adventure!
