Book 1 was written on the premise that an election was to be held in the USA for a new President. The political parties hold several College Votes to determine their official candidate. Once that candidate is elected, the official election of the President is started and the party to which they represent get behind the official candidates; but sometimes that does not always occur. Candidates can become liabilities during their campaign; others divide their Party. This story tells of a candidate that divides the nation and the big business that control the employment of a majority of the workers. Negotiations within the parties and behind closed doors determine the outcome of the election; what will happen if one candidate wins and how the country will react. This story leads on from such a plot. The President assassinated and the preferred leader installed, the squad now turn their attention to Cuba and to bring back the dominance of the Rodriguez family as the most powerful family in Cuba and its underworld. Restrictions on trade with Cuba had been relaxed and Americans were once again welcomed in the Capital of Havana. American business had started to rebuild and the drug trade was increasing. The Rodriguez family wanted and needed to control the drug trade, but there were two families well entrenched and backed by high ranking politicians in Castro's Government. Luca (formerly Loco) and Ricardo (formerly Rock) would lead the family to either its downfall or its glory.
