As a schoolchild, I had dreamed of becoming a writer. I wanted to write about the life around me, but many times, I stopped my writing by thinking what I was hoping for was unlikely to happen. Then one day I received an email from the Editor of the Delhi Press Magazines and my first short story, Banana Chips was published in the Woman's era Magazine (the second issue of August 2013). A dream came true. I have wanted very much to be a writer since my childhood days and it wasn't an impossible dream after all. Thereafter some of my other short stories have also appeared in the magazines. Compiled in this book are some of my published short stories in the Woman's Era and Alive Magazines. ContentsA dead man's shelf (first published in the 'Alive' Magazine, June & July 2016) Banana Chips (first published in the 'Woman's era' Magazine, August, the second issue 2013) The last deed (first published in the 'Alive' Magazine, April 2015) Death Ticket (first published in the 'Woman's era' Magazine, June, the second issue 2018) The Neel Factory (first published in the 'Woman's era' Magazine, October, the second issue 2017) If worse comes to the worst (first published in the 'Woman's era' Magazine, November, the second issue 2019) The dreadful days (first published in the 'Woman's era' Magazine, May, the second issue 2015)
