A temple priest, who is the only man in a temple, dies. The wise and good men of the colony worry that the temple has no priest. The temple is believed to be very old and no one knows who has built it. So, there begins a long search to find the men who built the temple, but the colony people fail in their all attempts. The thing people needed for the temple is a new priest. Therefore, they appoint a new priest for the temple. Soon the new priest takes full control of the temple and becomes an authoritarian man of the colony. Although his actions are immoral, the people of the colony begin to obey him without question. Then a stranger comes into the colony to challenge the new priest with lots of surprises in store for the people there. This story is about a temple mystery. The strange events start when an eighty-eight-year-old priest who was the only man in the temple, dies suddenly. The thrilling secrets of the temple are only grasped at the end of the story.
