This book is a collection of stories from a wide variety of people of many ages. The stories were gathered by students of Wallins Creek Elementary and Junior High School in Harlan County, Kentucky several years ago and the book went out of print. This book is a revised reprint of the work including stories, photographs, and student artwork. Stories were provided by family, friends, students, faculty, and community members. Some stories may frighten, some may delight, and all will entertain. Stories are told as truth by the story teller and represent their experiences during animal encounters with many different species of animals from bear, dear, elk, fish, fox, and many others. This book recieved praise on a local and national level.
