This book is a compilation of personal stories from Christian mothers who have experienced the power and influence of prayer in the lives of their children, as well as in their own lives because of a praying mother. Each story is unique to the individual, but offers encouragement to others who may find themselves in similar circumstances. From the young mother who prayed that someone better qualified at mothering would kidnap her daughter while being wheeled to the car on the way home from the hospital, to the prodigal daughter who looked for love in all the wrong places, the foster mother who adopted three children, and several others, this book has much to offer the reader in real world faith. The intent of this book is to encourage, embolden, and help women recognize the importance of their role of mother and prayer warrior in the lives of children. It is also a call for mothers and daughters to rise up as prayer warriors who make a difference as they seek God in behalf of their children, siblings, or grandchildren. Whether biological, adopted, fostered, sibling, care-giver, or children of the heart, a mother's position is an important one in the lives of the children they impact. The women who have shared their stories for this project offer proof that God does hear and answer prayer.
