Caroline, a physical therapist, worked at The Hospital for Disabled Children located in the White Mountains of Northern New Hampshire. She liked her job. She lived with her mom, dad, and grandparents. When Stanley, her supervisor, is stabbed to death, Caroline is offered the job of Director and gladly takes over. Detective George Davenport was sent from the Concord to help the local police solve the murder. There Is an immediate affinity between the detective and the director, but they aren't having much luck in solving the crime, until Caroline finds the Pharmacy records are inaccurate.
