The adventure continues in more unexpected directions. This is a tale of encounters with bureaucracy that become part of Mandarinas: Democracy vs. Pedantocracy. It's also a tale of unintentionally becoming a minor land baron. Along the way, this becomes a Canadian Patriotes version of Nippon's legendary Tenjin saga, carrying on from Exile Journals with more unplanned twists and turns in a setting long after Tenjin's times. The Terrian Journals series unintentionally continues a story begun about 25 years earlier in Fukuoka. It's allmost like a novel with characters from the previous pages making surprising reappearances much later. But, as always, Terrian Journals are non-fiction.
