If the Space Age isn't political science, then what is?

The old space age begins more than half a century ago because of an ideological disagreement between the C. C. C. P. and the U. S. A. The old space age ends when the U. S. A. abruptly cuts its lunar landing budget and the Soviet Union goes broke and collapses. Most of the astronauts and cosmonauts of that era are dead or very old.

Today there are two space stations in earth orbit, one U. S. "International" and one Chinese, symbolizing the fact that humanity has been going around in circles for quite a while, not getting anywhere beyond.

Billionaires who want to start a commercial space age are the latest people to leave earth's atmosphere, if only for a few moments. They are the cheer leaders of that space age. They need the cooperation of a government space agency and government permits to fly.

The stories in Terrian Journals' Political Science Fiction go from outer space to techno-societies, crime investigations, and pandemic times.

Terrian Journals' Political Science Fiction follows in the tradition of books in the genre dating back to Looking Backward, The Time Machine, and Things To Come, as well as more recent books, films, and television series that lend themselves to the genre, such as The Net, Enemy of The State, Outbreak, Contagion, The Prisoner, CSI, and others.

This volume diverges from the non-fiction Terrian Journals series, but combines fictional stories inspired by events in that series and mentioned in the series in their entirety or as story ideas. Two of the stories are adapted from screenplays written by the author.
