It has been nearly one year since Carolyn Cordova died in the FBI parking lot on what was supposed to be her first day as a special agent. One year since she came back to life as an eternal, a race that heals almost instantly. One year since she accepted a deal to work for the Supernatural Affairs Unit of the FBI (SnAfU), made possible because of a Presidential decree. Said decree came with an expiration date whose time draws ever closer. With a madman on the loose looking for revenge, Cordova and her mage partner, Booke, have been tasked with protecting a pop-band of witches visiting from England from threats made against their lives. The job may be a Hail-Mary effort to convince Congress to let the two of them keep their jobs, but protecting these ladies won't be easy. Can Cordova keep the witches safe and catch the psychopath?
