Temples and ShrinesDescriptionBuddism is the 4th largest religion with over 1/2 billion followers. Temples and Shrines are magical places that put you in a good mood and make you experience serenity just by being there. Some are extremely old, others less so, but all are worth taking time out to visit. Usually you will find that temples might belong to the Buddhist faith and Shrines will be Shinto (Japanese). But Temples can be found all over Japan too. Also Temples can be found in other East Asian countries, such as Thailand and Cambodia to name but two. Whereas Temples might close in the evenings, Shrines typically will be open 24 hours a day. Most places like this should be free to enter. Note some places like Angkor Wat are world heritage sites. Either way, your visit will be rewarded creating memories which when logged will last forever. Take photos if allowed. At 120 pages the logbook is 8.5" x 11" with a quality spine and superb cover.
