You could take bets with your passenger/partner on who would say this first!So your passenger holds on to the logbook and flls it in as you go along. They ask the little ones how many red cars can you count in a minute and times them. Likewise for all the other car colours. And as the journey proceeds they go through the other questions, and also note down the name of the person to say they want a drink, or food, or a pee. And when they are bored they get the children to play a game of "dead lions.."..
