Virgil is entering his second year of college at Bay Valley State University, where the Omegas, his fraternity brothers have become a second family away from home. The semester brings many changes, as he becomes a Big Brother, a Jeweled Officer of the fraternity, and turns nineteen! The Omegas are Nephilim warriors, and have become protectors of the Chalice of Immortals following the Paladin Games during the summer. Virgil's world collides with that of the beautiful but guarded, Amariana, a new pledge for the Alpha sisters. Their relationship starts strained but intensifies as they begin to care for one another. Virgil's first love isn't the only thing keeping him busy, as fraternity missions, and brewing tensions between the local vampires and lycans threatens to bring bloodshed to the streets amid his newfound happiness. And through it all a dark threat looms over Bay Valley, as Diablos is poised to strike!
