The Girl With No Face - Joy Cooper was born without ears, a nose, no hair and no eyes. There was neither inner ear nor sockets for the eyes. Her parents gave her up to the state and she ended up at the University Crib for severely deformed children. Her dark world changed when the mouse Specks entered her life. That was followed by a companion dog, who she found in the animal shelter. Then Timmi a weasel caught in a trap entered her life. Finally Kray a highly poisonous Krait snake was added to her small family that provided eyesight and hearing for the youngster. The story then follows her adventures as she tries to stop drugs from being introduced to young people.
