A collection of incidents experienced by an Anglo/Bahamian Family: Memorable events; Supernatural happenings; Ghostly visitations. All of these happenings are recounted in the First Person by a man who will eventually become the patriarch of the Mengue Family. The 'hauntings' may be benign or horrific according to personal perception, dictionary definition or through personal experience, and they 'happen', according to the location of the hero/narrator: Book One - England and The Middle East - each traditional in its own unique wayBook Two - The Bahamas, and especially the Island of Eleuthera - completely and surprisingly unconventional with its two cultures existing inside each other like Russian Dolls.
