Very happy and playful in a family environment, especially with kids, the Shepherd Picard is kind of reserved in the company of strangers. He is very loyal to his master and would love to live his whole life with him, and shows his affection in every possible way. He is less nervous than the other shepherd dogs, especially Belgian and German shepherds. He can do everything: guard, defense, utility and family.
