Emphasis is laid on the maxim "work is worship" and the approach to work is one with reverence as we do in the case of worship of God. The Swami says, "Every duty is holy and devotion to duty is the highest form of worship of God."Our focus in this book is the worker, based on the vision of Vivekananda who wanted to build a New India. Liberal use has been made of inspiring quotes and material from the books including Eternal Values for a Changing Society and the Message of the Upanishads, containing the talks and writings of Swami Ranganathananda. The author is deeply indebted to Swami Vivekananda but for whose inspiration and blessings this work would not have been completed.
