Pelizor, one of the most famous cities in the Prism Realms, is Ultrina's largest and wealthiest city. Major Valen Giles commands Pelizor's company of guardsmen who help protect the city. When the Major is murdered on his way home in his well protected and locked carriage, the main suspect of the subsequent investigation threatens to ignite a civil war. It appears the Major was done in with an elven arrow that belongs to a Sylvanlyn prince of the neighboring enchanted realm. Overking Landis knows this is the last thing the Prism Realms needs with their blood thirsty enemies led by the Fang Empire just waiting for such opening. That is why he sent the Hardway team in disguise to get to the bottom of the Major's murder and determine if the prince is involved. Can the Hardway help ease the tensions between the two realms?
