This is the fourth book in The 'Great White Hunter' series. Henry Phibbs is a retired American hunter who has settled down in India due to his love for Indian wildlife. A crocodile strays into the Ganges and becomes a man eater. People living in villages near the river need its water for bathing and household chores. So they have to go to the river where some of them fall prey to the man eater. The villagers are terrified. They request Henry to either capture or kill the crocodile as it has killed more than 40 humans. Though he is old, Henry accepts the challenge and decides to hunt. Does he capture the crocodile or does the crocodile kill him? Read on.
