Will it be Annette who aspires to be the next First Lady of her state despite a dark, ugly secret? Could it be quirky, independent Karen who has achieved much but could be facing indictment for embezzlement? Perhaps the winner is sweet, gentle Stacy who has also accomplished much over the years but still can't shake the stigma of her one big mistake in life. Or finally maybe the winner will be Paula who mostly just wants to be happy in life. These women come together to learn more about themselves than they realized they didn't know and to reunite in a friendship that has endured most of their lives.
