'Luck of the Draw, was written and produced in 1995, for a production at the Liverpool Playhouse Theatre. At that time society was deeply concerned by such issues as genetic testing. As this area of scientific discussion is once again very much in the public domain and as a 20th anniversary treat for actresses of quality, it is published here to make it available for a second production. Whether professional or amateur production is being considered, it is important that the notes given for performance are adhered to or resubmitted to the appropriate authorities, so as not to portray the character of Alison incorrectly.
