Throughout the history of rock 'n' roll there have been numerous stars that have died at an early age. A high percentage of these deaths can be attributed to the abuse of drugs and/or alcohol; however some stars have died tragically because they were involved in a fatal car crash or aeroplane crash, were murdered, had a terminal illness or succumbed to a fatal heart attack. A popular phrase 'The 27 Club' has become popular because of the perception that a lot of rock stars have died at the young age of 27 years. But is this true?Another popular perception is that numerous stars have died as a result of drug overdoses. But is this true?In this book I have listed and written a biography of all famous rock and pop stars that have died at or before the age of forty years old. Household names that have tragically died before their time, but although they have gone, their music lives on.
