Not only that, Merlin gave us dimension portals last time we was in the cavern. We was shore tryin 't figure them new powers out. Sam brought us back 't reality sayin we had 't get the treasures out of the City of Paititi. Now if ya remember right that was gonna require a whole lot of people 't get it done. Not only that there was hordes of savages between the City of Paititi 'n the seaport we needed 't get the treasures to. I hope ya can see this was gonna be a real challenge. We wound up with eight thousand natives 't help us 'n we're gonna knock yer socks off when ya find out how we did it. They was forever grateful fer the reward we was givin 'em fer their help. I'm tellin ya when put the smell of treasure in the air ever no good scurvy miscreant within a thousand miles knows bout it. We had our hands full of more scoundrels than ya can imagine. Get yer thinkin caps on cause this adventure has more puzzles 't solve than we ever anticipated. Make shore in dress light cause Brazil isn't noted fer its cold weather. Thanks fer joinin us. Gramps Contributor Bio:  Holmberg, Branton K I'm a grandfather, and great grandfather, and count those among the greatest achievements of my life. Of course no grandfather, grand or great, can accomplish such an honored status without the grandmother, both grand and great, and children who help create such blessings. I'm truly grateful. I spent many years as a university administrator and classroom professor, and also became an entrepreneur. I'm very long in the tooth and retired many years ago. I've always pushed myself to risk taking the next step in challenges I find daunting. Over the years I've found I've written thousands of pages related to my career choices and know the challenges of professional writing. Some months ago I started writing adventure stories to my young grandson. They were simply a means for me to share my love of adventure stories with him. I had not intended to put them before the public eye but my loved ones, including my grandson, encouraged me to do so. So here I am taking that risky next step in a challenge I again find very daunting. That challenge is whether you the reader will enjoy readin my stories as much as I have enjoyed creating them. I have thrown off the shackles of conventionality and resorted to using the lingo of a late nineteenth century cowpoke. Believe me when I tell you I'm murdering the English language.
