Publisher Marketing: When Sam was doin research inta them Xlin ship's logs he found somethin awful surprisin. The Xlins had found ancient tablets sayin there was giants here on Earth. Now ya know that got our minds racin wonderin what that was all bout. Specially since them tables was fourteen thousand years old. We used our dimension portals 't take us back t' around the time them tablets was made. What we found shore wasn't what we was lookin fer. Sam knew right away we needed 't move forward in time some 'n that's what we done. This time we landed right smack in the middle of giants. They was somethin 't behold. What was even more surprisin is what they was eatin. We got there just as they was havin supper. I was poking round where the Lemurains was fixin food fer the giants 'n passed out when I seen what they was cookin. Before that happened though we discovered some real mind bendin things goin on. Prepare yerself fer some real shockin revelations cause there's a passel of 'em. Don't worry bout us takin ya apart 'n putting ya back together this time cause we're not usin our teleportin power. Get yerself ready for a real shocker though when it comes 't gettin around. I'll bet my Grannie you'll be wishin ya had one of the things we found. Of course no grandfather, grand or great, can accomplish such an honored status without the grandmother, both grand and great, and children who help create such blessings. I'm truly grateful. I spent many years as a university administrator and classroom professor, and also became an entrepreneur. I'm very long in the tooth and retired many years ago. I've always pushed myself to risk taking the next step in challenges I find daunting. Over the years I've found I've written thousands of pages related to my career choices and know the challenges of professional writing. Some months ago I started writing adventure stories to my young grandson. They were simply a means for me to share my love of adventure stories with him. I had not intended to put them before the public eye but my loved ones, including my grandson, encouraged me to do so. So here I am taking that risky next step in a challenge I again find very daunting. That challenge is whether you the reader will enjoy readin my stories as much as I have enjoyed creating them. I have thrown off the shackles of conventionality and resorted to using the lingo of a late nineteenth century cowpoke. Believe me when I tell you I'm murdering the English language.
