Experimental Triphop / Electronica / all-round sexy multi-media band Gus Gus from Iceland hardly ever escape comparison to their more famous counterpart Björk, even if their music stands on its own amongst everything this little island with amazingly talented artists has produced. In fact, almost every Icelandic musician of note has contributed to Gus Gus over the years; Olof Arnalds, Hafdís Huld, and Emiliana Torrini; they have all played a part in Gus Gus' story. 'Polydistortion' from 1997 was their second album and first on a major label, and features Emiliana on 'Why?' and 'Is Jesus Your Pal?'. This vinyl version contains 5 bonus tracks (including remixes by Amon Tobin and DJ Vadim), on top of the song 'Polyreprise' which could previously only be heard as the hidden track on the cd-version. This special pressing - the first in fifteen years - will be released in a 6mm sleeve with printed inner sleeves
