BIG BEN (1965) is considered one of the best albums from the first stage of the Brazilian maestro's career. This early work is a more adventurous with respect to

songwriting than his previous albums. It possesses a level of sophistication that really helped push Jorge into a range of fresh new sounds. Titles include such numbers as "Jorge Well", "Deixa O Menino Brincar", and Ben's classic "Agora Ninguem Chora Mais", which was successfully covered by Erasmo Carlos years later.
