Singer Songwriter based in England. Performed in various UK venues including Ronnie Scotts' and Mean Fiddler, London. Steven performed in April 2007 at the New York Ukulele Festival and the ukulele is part of his appeal. He has written 2 books on how to play the Ukulele and is respected as top rate player. The album features 2 uke songs, Steven's version of 'Alone again (naturally)' which is proving a popular youtube hit and 'It could happen to you' an old 1940s ballad. The rest of the album reflects Steven's diversity of style and genre. He's difficult to put into any category but he moves from ballads to quirky jazzy twists but always his catchy hooks and chord changes inspire you. Steven has had many reviews yet remains in UK 'unsigned' even though he has had scores of local radio airplays and just one airplay from BBC Radio 2 the UKs most poular music station. The title song 'Acer Glade ' is about a part of Westonbirt Arboretum' in Glos., England..well worth a visit if you are going to UK! He's a talent waiting to be discovered by the masses and slowly his music is catching on..this album will make such that difference.
