Ensemble Beatus
The Beatus Ensemble, a specialist in early music, invites us to a journey to the sources of sacred song from East and West on the theme of light. Starting from the Aquitaine Gregorian repertoire (repertoire of the abbey of Saint-Martial de Limoges), it takes us back to even earlier times when, with the old Roman song and Ambrosian, the traditions of the Greek and Latin churches cohabited and dialogued. A dialogue that the Ensemble Beatus updates with the participation of a Byzantine cantor (Lebanon) and that he also extends to other cultures with a traditional singer Persian.
