Bob Morley
Bob Morley is a World traveled performer since the days of garage bands and folk coffee houses. He has perfarmed in every state as well as Europe, Asia and Africa - mostly at schools and colleges, conventions, military bases, YMCA's and churches (and sone night clubs). He is also a United Methodist Minister who has successfully integrated pop music into worship settings bluring the artificial line between sacred and secular. This recording is an example of that blending. Most of the tracks are medleys including some old gospel song redone and some pop or folk tunes that gather up the sams theme: for example, Garth Brook's 'THe River' includes the refrain of 'Shall we Gather at the River.' In the time since the album was produced it has been given high marks by people who are looking for this blend of easy familiarity and surprising inovation. Many come and buy more for their friends. My five year old daughter goes to sleep with it every night. She likes it better than either Barney or Kermit the Frog.
