I'm Blooming Martha Hall Bowman

Martha Hall Bowman is a woman with many hats: Singer, songwriter, writer, publisher, photographer, counselor, music therapist in training, drumming facilitator, to name a few. Born in southern California, she attended high school and college in Arkansas. She earned a bachelor's degree in journalism and music from Lyon College in Batesville, Arkansas and moved to the Midwest to begin work in journalism. She received her master's in counseling in 2006. She is currently in training for music therapy at Indiana University/Purdue University in Indianapolis. Always active in church, Martha blended her love for God and her love for music, and she began writing as Spirit led her. She spent eight years as a music director for a church in Anderson, Indiana. She started writing songs that she and her choir could sing. She recorded some of these songs on her first CD, 'Connect the Hearts,' in 2000. She recently completed her second CD, "I'm Blooming" and has several other CDs in the works, including a compilation CD series of positive, inspirational music.
