Michael's Interest in music came at the young age of eight when he was fascinated with the drums. It wasn\'t until age eleven that Michael discovered his true love and talent - the guitar. He had a knack for being able to pick out tunes and rhythms, and began taking lessons. In 2005 Michael started studying Music at Wayne State University in Detroit and began developing a real style of his own. He traveled to Boston in 2007 to study at the renowned Berklee College Of Music and began writing songs and playing solo gigs at area clubs. His Command of the instrument and unique style led him to gigs in Boston, Chicago, and New York City. Now back in Detroit, he continues to play to sold out audiences at several area clubs. Michael's music reflects his mastery of the genre and an innate ability to relate his own life to the lives around him. Whether solo or with a band, his music and lyrics create an atmosphere which draw his listeners in. Michael's first release, Crash EP, weaves a combination of powerful lyrics and fresh, innovation style. The artwork featured on his CD cover is by friend, John "Crash" Matos, one of the founders of the graffiti art movement in New York. Matos is also known for his work with Fender Guitars. His painted guitars are collected by Michael as well as Eric Clapton and John Mayer. Fresh off the release of Crash EP, Michael's Continues to play to sold out venues in Detroit, as well as venues on the East Coast and in Canada.
