In partnership with WaterTower Music, Waxwork Records marks their second collaboration with director Lee Cronin and composer Stephen McKeon with the release of Lee Cronin’s The Mummy (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) as a deluxe double LP.

Stephen McKeon shares:

“With Lee Cronin’s The Mummy, the challenge was to create an emotional and expressive score built on strangled breaths, fingernails scraping against the inside of a sarcophagus and eruptions of uncontrolled rage; a kind of undead demonic orchestra that would worm its way under the skin and live inside the more traditional musical element.”

Producer Jason Blum shares:

"Stephen McKeon brought something genuinely special to Lee Cronin's The Mummy. A great score doesn't just support a film, it becomes part of it, and that's exactly what Stephen delivered. He's a remarkable talent and this score is proof of that.

ABOUT LEE CRONIN’S THE MUMMY:

Hot off the record-setting resurrection of EVIL DEAD RISE, writer/director Lee Cronin turns to one of the most iconic horror stories of all time with an audacious and twisted retelling: LEE CRONIN’S THE MUMMY. The young daughter of a journalist disappears into the desert without a trace, eight years later, the broken family is shocked when she is returned to them, as what should be a joyful reunion turns into a living nightmare.
