Slowly We Rot Obituary Milky Clear with Violet & Green Rot' Splatter Vinyl edition
Slowly We Rot
Obituary
Obituary’s Slowly We Rot, released in 1989, is probably the most savage debut record ever made; reactions at the time ranged from Ozzy Osbourne’s exclamation that “They’re f**king mad!” to journalist Phil Alexander’s proclamation in the pages of RAW that it was “The type of album that’ll make you froth at the mouth.” Adding to its landmark status is the fact that Slowly We Rot was the first record produced by soon-tobe go-to death metal producer Scott Burns. This reissue is remastered for the format, contains two bonus tracks (demo versions of “Find the Arise” and “Like the Dead”), and pressed on milky clear vinyl with violet & green rot splatter to match Rob Mayworth’s incredible album cover illustration.
