Windy was born in Burgaw, North Carolina in 1966. Being raised in a christian home, she began singing in church at the age of 10. As she grew, so did her love for music. When she was in her early 20's she has aspirations to become a singer and songwriter. Thinking that it was just a pipe dream, she did not attempt to achieve her dream. In her mid 30's, God began to lay song on her heart and she began to write. At the age of 38, dispite challenges and struggles, God orchestrated the production and completion of her first CD. Windy has had a life filled with challenges and struggles but she has overcome. Her music is full of moving forward in life and resting in the love of Jesus. Her prayer is that you will be encouraged and uplifted as you listen to 'When the spirit moves.'
