Mike Dawson
Mike Dawson grew up idolizing his grandfather, \'Papa\', who played guitar in a Mariachi band and would always yell \'Waylon!\' every time Mr. Jennings came on the radio. In 2004 Dawson released his first record, mona d., produced by his good friend Alan Parsons, the engineer for Pink Floyd throughout the 1970's and the creative genius behind the Alan Parsons Project. Mike Dawson has shared the stage with Mike Campbell (Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers), Glen Phillips (Toad The Wet Sprocket), Dishwalla, Kenny Loggins and recently has been touring the USA with Stephen Ashbrook. Call it country-rock, alt-country or outlaw music. Mike is just a good ole California cowboy singer-songwriter.
