GSG hails from San Antonio, Texas. His interest in music started very young while watching his mom practice on the piano and he banging on the high and low notes.Then getting his first hollow body guitar in the forth or fifth grade then forming along with neighborhood classmates their first band.After being the drummer and later switching to bass and playing it for a lot of years. Songwriting came just after high school mostly writing lyrics.A few years later with a dear friend who is now deceased wrote bits and pieces of songs and recorded them on a small tape recorder.Then finally writing complete songs.About Homeless In America.The title track was inspired while after a New Year's celebration walking in the cold morning to their car on North Alamo street seeing the old homeless black man sitting on the steps of the church.As an independent GSG does it all.The writing,playing,recording,photos,all of it.Yes,all of it for you the listener to enjoy.
