Hey there, Thanks for your interest. This was my 'sophomore effort,' as they say. My second CD. Listeners donated money to help me get it made, and I recorded everything in one day, in a cabin in the Bitterroot Valley, south of Missoula. I had been living there. We recorded in early June, but a freak snowstorm happened the day before, and so all that water sound you can hear is the snow melting off the roof. I really like the birds that made it onto the album. It's pretty rough around the edges. I was nervous, and I can hear it. But it has a certain charm, maybe, in that way. It's about as earnest and folky as it gets. I'm proud of many of the songs. I would love to record a few them again - 'Grace,' 'Take Me Quick,' 'Hey Happy' -- with other musicians. 'Appaloosa' has turned out to be a popular one. It's a song-transcription of a dream I had while camping. I think a lot of people can relate to being a little crazy, a little horsey, a little wilder and a little more imprisoned than we'd like to admit in waking life. I really appreciate you listening. Amy.
