Soulraye is the brainchild of singer, producer, composer, pianist, keyboardist, Michael Raye and his partner singer, dancer, songwriter, designer Kristen Gray. Between the two, they have worked with a virtual who's who in the music business, including: Mick Jagger, Bootsy Collins, Daryl Hall, Dave Stewart (of the Eurythmics), George Clinton, Gloria Gaynor, Deniece Williams, Will Downing, Ric Ocasek (of the Cars), Phyllis Hyman, Lou Reed, Mary Wilson, Little Anthony and the Imperials, Lucky Peterson, Tom Browne, Noel Pointer, and Richie Havens among others. The experience of having worked with these greats has helped to shape an explosive and exciting stage show. This dynamic, charismatic two-some along with their five piece band will take you on a funky musical journey that will leave you breathless and fulfilled in the spirit of Prince, Sting, Sly and the Family Stone, and Minnie Riperton.
