Of the 20 songs on The Very Best Of George Strait 1981-1987, 'Down and Out', 'Marina Del Rey', 'Right Or Wrong' & 'Let's Fall To Pieces Together' are some of the more catchy, well sung tunes which you can't help but sing along to. On this collection, you get the songs that made him a star in the first place, beginning with 'Unwound', a top ten country hit. This was followed by 'Down And Out' which was only a top twenty hit. After that, his career really took off.
