The 20-year-old Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy traveled to Scotland for a few weeks in 1829, where he created one of his most famous works: Symphony No. 3 in A minor, "Scottish". This recording of the London Symphony Orchestra together with the Swiss conductor Peter Maag took place in 1960 in London's legendary "Kingsway Hall", which no longer exists since 1998. Here's a little tip from us: Only the first 1,000 copies of this limited edition, manufactured in Japan, feature a sequential serial number and are therefore extremely sought after by collectors. So don't wait too long to place your order!

We recommend the use of "L'Art du Son" CD/DVD conditioner for even more sonic improvement.
