David Wu
David Wu directs this three-part American mini-series starring David Carradine. D. B. (John Reardon) was abandoned at birth on the docks of Shanghai, and rescued from certain death by the resourceful thief/conman, Bird (Carradine), with whom he forges a close bond.
Years later, a daring mission to steal a valuable gem from the royal castle changes the course of their lives forever. During the highly dangerous mission, D. B. falls in love with the beautiful princess Li Wei (Desiree Siahaan) - but in order to win her hand he must face an ever more challenging series of tests.
