Uffe Steen Trio & Vestbo Trio together form a unique sextet with 2 guitars, 2 basses and 2 drum kits. With this new album we believe we’ve succeeded in creating something unique where the whole really is greater than the sum of the parts.

Combine that with the fact that we’re now celebrating 10 years of playing, recording and touring together, and coining this new album title was easy: 3+3=10

For this album, we set up our gear at the lovely music venue Fermaten. We stood in a circle on the floor, set up all the mics together with our friend Dennis Ahlgren, hit the record button and started playing. What you hear is the result: Our take on instrumental jazz/blues/folk that’s melodic, groovy and very much alive!

The follow-up to our Grammy-nominated album “GROOVES” from 2022, we believe “3+3=10” is a milestone release for the sextet, and we hope you will love it as much as we do.
