Europe | Come This Madness
Europe's "Come This Madness" – the band's 12th studio album and first since 2017 – is their most powerful and uncompromising release to date. With "Come This Madness", they continue to defy expectations by constantly evolving, adapting, and pushing boundaries without compromise. On tracks like ‘One on One’, ‘The Cult of Ignorance’ and the title track ‘Come This Madness’, the band channels excitement, truth, and raw energy into an album that feels both deeply personal and globally relevant.
"Come This Madness" was recorded at RMV Studio and produced by renowned producer Tom Dalgety, who became a central creative force throughout the process, leaving his mark on the album's sound from start to finish.
With "Come This Madness", Europe delivers a significant album where they appear fully realized and present – ready to confront the world as it is.
Europe was formed in Stockholm in 1983 and has been one of rock's most enduring names, with the classic lineup – Joey Tempest, John Norum, Mic Michaeli, John Levén and Ian Haugland – as the core of the band's identity for over 40 years. Not many other bands within the genre have managed to maintain such a stable lineup of tight-knit musicians.
They achieved global success with the multi-platinum album "The Final Countdown" and have sold more than 15 million albums worldwide. Europe has experienced it all. They have continued to move forward. Never stood still – and yet they rise again.
