ENHYPEN

ENHYPEN has been one of the big names of the K-pop scene since their debut back in November 2020 with their mini-album "Border: Day One". It all started with a huge K-pop audition on the Korean survival reality show I-Land, in which 23 contestants competed for one of the 7 places in a brand new K-pop band. Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon and Ni-ki were announced as the winners of this casting as ENHYPEN by the production company BE:LIFT. Enhypen’s success was foreshadowed by the huge amount of fans, that they had gathered on various social media platforms even before Enhypen's debut was released.

The name ENHYPEN is a compound of the two words en dash and hypen combining different words to create new meanings and figuratively referring to the coming together of the seven boys and their further journey together as ENHYPEN.
