Edited by Eric Corson, who for 40 years was the director of Prisoner Visitation and Support - a nationwide program that pairs volunteers with prisoners in the U. S. federal and military prisons who rarely receive visits, the book contains stories about visiting in prison from the perspective of visitors and prisoners, in their own words.
