The following narrative is part of a collection of testimonies entitled "'Voices Along The Horizon: Stories & Interviews along the Pan-American Highway', from the top of North America to the tip of South America" and of a cultural and culinary guidebook and travelogue series entitled ''Deliciously Addictive, Sampling & Savoring 5,000 Years of Peruvian Cuisine Anywhere in the World', where it is all about people's voices, accents and speech patterns, hand in hand with my own personal anecdotes and observations. In addition to that, locals and travelers will be allowed to introduce themselves in their respective, often indigenous, languages and dialects, and to speak their minds freely, without any paraphrases or expectations.
