This is the third book in the Scary Cat series. In the previous volume, Pipa gets invited to a birthday party at a friend's house. Since she is a guests, she doesn't know that the party is going to feature a birthday mime. In this party, Pipa faces her fear of clowns, or in this case her fear of Mimes.

Through her meeting with the mime, Pipa learns that clowns or mimes are just normal people who wear makeup. There is no reason for her to be afraid of clowns. Aside from the clown scene, I also feature fun birthday party ideas. I worked really hard on the color of this volume.

In this volume, the main focus is on the color red. I use red and a few other analogous colors to highlight the scene. I thought it was a fun stylistic choice. The birthday mime is a turtle. A cute pink turtle. I think he came out cute. My brother and my mother feels that the turtle mime came out scary.

I really do not see it. Anyhow, this is a good birthday gift. You can give it to someone who likes cats and clowns. Or you can give it to someone who is afraid of cats and clowns. Anyhow, I hope that the newest adventure of Pipa the Scary Cat makes you smile.
