INTERSTELLAR LAW: ETHICS

Why are we discussing Ethics?

First, we need to define, for our purposes, what we mean by Ethics.

By Ethics, we are referring to behaviour that goes beyond written laws and codes. In the author's work Interstellar Law: Constitutional Basis, we discuss written codes that comprise a Constitution. That Constitution may be explicitly defined as in the case of the United States; or may comprise multiple codes written over time, as in the case of the United Kingdom. But, both are in a written form.

On the other hand, Ethics, and Ethical Behaviour, are over and above a Written Code.

As with most disciplines, Ethics can be categorised by the area of study, as well as the goals intended.

In our case, we are looking at the area of Political Ethics - or more to the point, the principles of Justice.

This is Mr. Risman's 18th law text. Mr. Risman is an Honours LL. B. graduate from the University of London, and obtained his LL. M from the same institution.
