Almighty God has given mankind the privilege and honor to judge himself.1Co 11:31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. It is through the medium of the Word of yGod that we are allowed the privilege to examine and judge ourselves. Rev 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. The books here refer to the Bible which is the Word of God by which we examine and prove ourselves. Hebrews 11:6 tells us, "that without faith, it is impossible to please God," but Romans 10:17 says, "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God." Therefore, our obedience to God's Word is critical to pleasing him who will be our judge. In the Book of Revelation, chapters 2 and 3, Almighty God provided us a looking glass by which we are privileged to examine and judge ourselves. I invite you to read and study this little book and allow 'The Looking Glass' to enable you to please God.
