A Life of Art is a book about Howard Finster's Daughter, Beverly Finster and the two different styles of Art she creates. One style of art that she creates is greatly inspired by her daddy, the infamous self taught artist with a folk art style. She grew up in his Paradise Garden as a child by his side mesmerized by all his creations. The second style of art that she creates is of her own design and art education. In many of her pieces both styles intermingle. The greater of her art inspirations comes from the love of God's spirit that speaks to her through scripture, messages, revelations and dreams very similar to her daddy. There is growth and change seen throughout the book with the various art styles with God's word. Beverly's hope in the publishing of this book, A life of Art, is that God reveals a message to you through her art and that you will enjoy the adventure of reading and studying about the different styles of art she creates.
